At this time of year we begin the process of finding sponsors for our 2021 school year which begins in January of 2021. It is a very rewarding and personal experience as the sponsors and students get to know one another thru correspondence. It is a four year commitment and is $800 per year which educates a student in Boarding School, pays for their room, board, education and activities we promote at Iruri to enhance academic achievement. It is fully tax deductible as we are an official 501 (c) 3. To date we have supported 69 students since 2012 and have graduated 23, many of them now in University. Most, especially girls would not have gone to school beyond Grade 8 which is compulsory. Our mission statement was to give hope that students could follow their dreams about the future and we have done just that. 100% of our fund raising goes directly to our programs.
