Safari to Ol Pejeta Conservancy - Morning

One of the exciting activities the visitors to Iruri Primary School participated in was a trip to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy and Sweetwaters Serena Camp. The trip was co-sponsored by our organization and Serena Lodges. This album is just the morning activities, which included the 1.5 hour ride to the Conservancy, a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary there and a safari in our buses around the bush there in the conservancy.

The trip's purpose was to bring the students out to see the amazing animals that live not too far away from the school in Kenya. Many of the students do not get a chance to travel very far away from their rural village. The top 3 students from each class were chosen to take the all day trip, along with 3 top teachers from the school.
